HKLNA-Project Announcement
February 2007

Best Wishes from the HKLNA-Project in
The Year of the Boar!

The Chinese New Year is just around the corner.

TOP NEWS - As mentioned in January's announcement little progress is expected to take place during the months of January and February. This is because the HKLNA-Project must take a back seat to EARTH -- the HKLNA-Project's sponsor -- as EARTH navigates through an important business strategy change. Evidence for this is given in a new brochure created for the purpose of promoting EARTH's products and services among Hong Kong's Japanese business community.

SLIDESHOW - No further progress has been made, but surely some will take place very soon.

TECHNICAL UPGRADES - Further inroads into Action Script 2 have been made and will continue to be made. The learning curve is steep, but probably well worth the while.

TSONG KIT for Chinese Language Beginners (website) - Work on the Tsong Kit website, like work on the HKLNA-Project, has been temporarily suspended.

EARTH's New Brochure and Japanese Insert (document): Placing something online that should be viewed offline in hardcopy format will hardly do the brochure justice. Nevertheless, a brief glimpse of what EARTH has been up to for the month of January is something that the HKLNA-Project's and Tsong Kit Project's supporters deserve to see. WARNING: This document includes unembedded Asian fonts. If you have trouble opening the document, please notify EARTH and a remedy will be found.

ACKNOWLEDGMENTS - Special thanks to Apple® Computer for the best computers available, the best operating system anywhere, and a terrific place to host a website and Adobe® software for making the internet a visual delight and an attractive place to discover, disseminate, and exchange information.

By the way, if you make use of the HKLNA-Project or Tsong Kit websites, please do not be afraid to say thanks and do not forget to reference the project in your footnotes and bibliographies. It is the little things in life that make each day worth living.

Sincerely

R. A. Stegemann
