Note 1: These data were obtained by summing gross additions to fixed assets across all IT&T industries, and then dividing the resulting amount into the gross additions to fixed assets for each IT&T industry. The term gross additions refers to new fixed investment less the disposal of old fixed assets. A similar pattern not shown here was also observed for 2001.
