Note: Electronic business services accessed by electronic devices other than the internet have been around much longer than the internet has been popular. Thus,  their usage patterns are both higher and more stable, but usage itself is still growing. The immensely popular Octopus card is a case in point.

Note: The industry for electronic business services accessed through the internet is still very young and highly competitive, this can explain the high level of volatility and rapid growth rates in some areas of business such as online searches for goods and services (not necessarily purchases), cyber banking and online payments (settlements) for utilities and other regularly scheduled payments. Making online reservations also appears to an electronic business activity well-suited for the internet.
